301 redirect from main domain to sub domain

    I have currently created an article in the subdomain that is already posted in the main domain. I am unable to redirect it to the subdomain. It says This will be converted to a server redirect for the domain https://www.magnifez.com. for further reference, I have attached a screenshot. https://ibb.co/HB52hxK

    Yes, you are trying to redirect something that does not live on the current domain – https://www.magnifez.com is not your current domain.

    So in order to create a redirect, I should be doing this on magnifez.com the main domain rather than on its subdomain academy.magnifez.com. Does this solve the problem?

    You can only redirect from a domain on which Redirection is running. This means it either has to be installed on that domain, or that domain has to be mapped to a server which Redirection is installed.
