with polylang active the home page dissapears

this is because when you activate Polylang it automatically thinks that you are using homepages in different languages, like “example.com/en/” and “example.com/fr/” etc. and redirects to the default language or uses a language picker that idetifies the browser language and redirects you to the respective version.
Polylang therefor removes the general homepage “example.com”.
What doesn’t seem to be possible is to still use “example.com” as a general homepage without any redirects.

I have a similar problem: I don’t want the “example.com” to redirect. I want my users to manually choose which language version they want to visit.

my website has https://www.exaple.pl domain, not com. And language of the site is pl. Should it have pl/pl domain? I have another site and there is not any problem with polylang and https://www.example.pl https://www.example/pl/en/ are ok.

Have you set a default language?

I’ve set polish as langauage of the site in general options of wordpress. And when I’m activating polylang, pages have polish as a language. But nothing is vivible.
