Sticky Menu Disappears

The sticky menu on the homepage has started to disappear.
The Image Overlay Text Colour withing the cover template is set to white but when I scroll the menu stays white over the white top background. It should change to black at this point, indeed it does so when I preview the page as I edit it within WP. It’s only when I publish it starts to happen.

Effectively, the menu isn’t inheriting the standard menu colour (black) when I scroll on the front page, rather it keeps the overlay text colour (white)… and I’m fairly sure it’s only just started doing this, it has been fine until recently.

Any ideas?
