% error and theme settings not cloned

    I just cloned https://effortless.marketing/ to https://em.vhwptest.com/, and the clone was successful, kinda, the themes settings were not transferred over, which makes the home page look nothing like the original, it would take quite a bit of work to fix it, so i’m just gonna re-clone it using a better plugin, the theme in question is Fluida.

    Both sites are on the same host and everything is up to date (freshly installed WP Clone on both), no errors during clone or restore.

    Also the % bug is still alive and well (any % symbol in the site content gets replaced with a long random series of characters), despite the plugin author saying it was fixed. Example of one on this blog post https://em.vhwptest.com/not-secure-warning-from-google-chrome/

    I’m not too much in a rush to clone again, so i could give you 1-2 days if you wanna look at the site and try some fixes.

  • I can confirm the same % issue, the author said the % bug has been fixed, but I’m still getting it in some clone cases, it depends on the server setup (MySQL version etc…)
