This error seems to be triggered every time I make a fresh copy of the site with Popup Builder installed.

This is happening on WPengine, as well as when we try to make a copy of the site locally. I seem to be able to resolve by deactivating and reactivating the plugin via recovery mode

  • Dear @todditron,

Deactivating and reactivating the plugin will solve the issue for now.

But we need some more details to reproduce the issue and include it in our updates.
Could you, please, tell us some more steps of how you are copying the website and where you see the error?

I am using WPengine’s built-in cloning system, copying the entire site from production -> staging environment, for example.

    https://wpengine.com/support/copy-site/
(I am copying the filesystem and database when I do this)

Then, when I first visit the destination site, I get that error.

I have to login in recovery mode, deactivate, then reactivate the plugin to get the site running again.

Not an enormous problem now that I understand it, but impede our workflow a bit.

I believe the same thing happens when we pull down a fresh copy of the site into local environment, but haven’t done that for a while, so can’t say for sure

    Dear @todditron,

We just updated the plugin to the 3.61 version and your issue should be solved as well.
Thank you for your contribution to the development of our plugin. ??

    Hey Guys,

I am now having this issue whilst the plugin is active. Latest version of the plugin. As soon as I remove the plugin I am then able to login again. When I reactivate the plugin or add it back I then get the same message website is experiencing a technical issue.

This seemed to have happened when I create a few new popups for the site. Since then I get the error.

Is there a way I can possibly flush a DB table of the other popups I’ve created?

Any ideas and support would be amazing.

    Thanks
    Glen
