I am in desperate need of the functionality shown in the demo and believe this to be an awesome plugin for my simple purpose.

Unfortunately, I’ve downloaded and verified the filename and verified the file extension of the GED file from Ancestry.com, but the file will not upload.

GEDShow returns a GED File file must end with .ged Upload Error.

I looked for an easy way to contact the author but had to try to reach out in this review. I hope he can fix and submit an update soon!

Is this plugin still active by any chance? If not does anyone know of a GEDCOM plugin that works?

I responded to your 2* review yesterday but that reply seems to have disappeared.

In the readme file and also in the information page on the plugin is a contact email address. Yes the plugin is still being supported and developed.

The first thing to try is to rename the gedcom file from Ancestry to something like test5jan.ged all in lowercase then try reprocessing that. If that fails then please email me a copy of the gedcom to see if there is anything wrong with it. No one else has reported a problem such as this and I do have an Ancestry gedcom in my test suite that works fine.

I have updated this support call to resolved as after 4 days the OP has not posted anything and no one else has reported this problem.
