Inserting images into posts

I am creating new blog posts and trying to create images that sit nicely within the text – where the text is wrapped around/ sitting next to the image. I am clicking on the button to place an image next to the text, and it previews as that, but when I publish the post the text goes above or below the image and never next to it. Please can you advise? Thank you.
