(blocks-gallery-item) Gallery thumbnail images get links from 512×512 px full-size
I can’t understand why. It has to show thumbnail version of the images when I click them It will open them with full size am I right?

How can I fix it? I tried different lightbox plugins but I’m paying for jetpack and I want to use it instead of 3th party plugin.

It’s affecting the GTmetric score.

https://www.sharetextures.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/PBR-copper_red-diffuse-.jpg is resized in HTML or CSS from 512×512 to 128×128. Serving a scaled image could save 101.3KiB (93% reduction).

The gallery on the page you’d linked to is not using Jetpack’s gallery format, carousel, or our image CDN.

We’ll need to see the problem in place in order to investigate it.

Please check it again. I’m trying new solutions. I activated Jetpack.
I research about it and I guess problem connected with Gutenberg Gallery Blocks.

Ah yes, that is a problem with the core Gallery Block. A fix for that was introduced a few days ago via https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/18581 so it will likely be released in WordPress 5.4.

For now, try our Tiled Gallery block instead: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-blocks/tiled-gallery-block/

Is that any way to change all old posts galleries to your tiled gallery?

When you select the block, there’s an option to convert the block.
