Hey, love the performance boost, but I am seeing a few issues that are breaking DIVI.

In particular, I am seeing the pesky flashing of unstyled content in the header of my home page. It actually looks like the site flashes the default style in the fixed menu at the very top and the main menu background.

I am also seeing random breaking on desktop and mobile versions of the site.

All the issues go away upon deactivating LiteSpeed.

I really appreciate the improved load times, but I am not able to adjust settings to eliminate the repeated flashing. In other words, every time, regardless of browser or device, I return to the home page, the header area flashes.

Finally, I’d love to know how to manage deferring parsing of javascript.

I generally use Divi for a variety of personal and client projects. I am noting past issues with DIVI and wondering if what I am experience is part of previously state issues that have yet to be resolved?

    Thank you

  • Hi @wudman, that flash might because “Flash of unstyled content”, could you try to disable Load CSS Asynchronously to confirm?

Finally, I’d love to know how to manage deferring parsing of javascript.

You can turn on Setting > Optimize > Load JS Deferred and if you find any error you may need to use Setting > Tunning > JS Deferred Excludes.

    Hi,

I’m going to mark this topic “Resolved,” due to lack of activity.

If you still need help, please let us know what happens when you disable the Load CSS Asynchronously option. Does the flash go away?

We’ll be happy to reopen the topic if necessary.

    Thanks!

The flashing went away. Load JS Deferred didn’t seem to make much difference when I compare what was parsed before and after using GTMetrix.
    Thank you
