Migrating into the same domain

    Hi guys, what is the easiest way to do this? If I want to migrate the site on the same domain? I’m trying to move the web hosting company but planning to use the same domain. Thank you all!

    Hey,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    If you want to migrate the Website to a new server with the same domain UR. There are two ways to do this.

    1. Setting up WordPress on the new server & pointing the DNS to that server. Once you do this, you can simply install Migrate Guru & add the website URL as the destination website & go ahead with the migration.

    2. Setting up WordPress on the new server & not pointing DNS to that server. Here, you would need to enter the website URL & enter the Server IP of the new server in “Advance Options” & start the migration.
