• Early versions wouldn’t even connect properly with Google’s own services, leaving installation/integration in a partial state. Attempts to finish all failed, with a to itself at my domain, (domain.com/?oauth2callback=1 + a long string of characters) …which failed to load.

To their credit, the developers responded to my review and tried to help, but it took SEVERAL iterations of plugin updates to smooth it out, and then it finally finished the integration process without issue.

Testing with the Pingdom Website Speed Test found no hit to site performance.

    Much better, Googlers!

@thisistrue Just to let you know we’ve made improvements to the plugin since its early releases, thanks to feedback from users such as yourself.

It would be great to hear how you find the latest version of the plugin. If you encounter any setup issues as you did previously feel free to let me know.

Thanks for following up: that’s impressive.

Indeed I’ve tried it with each plugin update, and the last one was the charm: it did complete the setup finally! It still strikes me as pretty cumbersome to click permission after permission, but otoh I appreciate the privacy/security aspects of that. The information looks interesting, and nice to have it all in one place.

    I will update my review.
