Add Media – Upload not working in post!

  • If I try to use the “Add Media”-button in the post editor, and then go to “Upload Media”, nothing appears and the page turns white and no button to select files appears.

    If I go directly to Media – Add Media, I can upload files.

    Are experiencing the same issue on several sites I have, hosted by different ISPs etc.

    Have tried different browsers, cleared cache etc.

    Already running 5.3.2..

    I have the same issue after upgrading to 5.3.2 but not on all websites. Tried different browsers – no change.
    I have been adding images to the media gallery – add new media there is fine. In posts, I can select images from the media gallery but get the white page with “Upload Media”

    For me the issue was Enhanced Media Library. Disabled it and everything is working as expected.

    Indeed @karenrbnt that was the problem at my end as well..

    Any good ideas how to replace the Enhanced Media Library and still keep the media categories etc?
