• My website not working: alondracustoms.co.za. It opens fine with alondracustoms.co.za/wp, but I have no idea where to correct it. If I go into: Dashboard: settings: then the Home & Site URL not visible to edit to the correct URL. I’ve tried to edit in cPanel, then nothing working then I need to revert back to the original URL. How can I fix that? Kind regards

I want make sure I understand your question.

    – Currently is your site in a subdirectory?
    – If it is, are you trying to leave it there but make work from root?
    – or, are you trying to move it out of its own directory and move it to root?

Hi. I’m not sure if it’s in a sub-directory. Most probably it is, as you pointed out. I would have liked to attach some documents/files to be viewed to come to a conclusion, but no attachment option on this thread visible. There is 2 WP directories visible in WP. a Admin and Alondra Customs directories.
If I login to my cPanel, phpMyAdmin, and for istance folder ie. should be: ‘wp_options’, I get ‘wpwd_options’. All the other folders has the same: ‘wpwd_’

Check this link. It tells you what you need to do:

Basically, you’ve got WordPress installed in the /wp/ folder of your site, and you want to love it out of there to the root folder. There’s more steps to it them just adjusting a few settings in phpMyAdmin.
