Hi, I’ve got your plugin working beautifully in Gutenberg, but when I use the same shortcode over in Elementor strange spacing appears and fonts change. I’ve got to be able to put this page together in Elementor. Can you help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is the shortcode I’m using:
    [ecs-list-events design=”table” columns=”4″ excerpt=”true”?limit=’4′?thumb=’true’ thumbwidth=’212′ thumbheight=’140′ excerpt=’300′ contentorder=’thumbnail, date, title, excerpt, venue’ hiderecurring=”false”]

    Hello!

Since this is related to the pro version, we can follow up on this via our email support, but it looks like the issue is the shortcode is wrapped in pre tags. You can see more information about this and the solution here:

    https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/how-to-fix-the-events-calendar-shortcode-not-working/#pre-tags

So in Elementor you’ll need to go into whatever the “text” or “html” view is, and remove the pre tags that way. Or, you may be able to just delete the shortcode entirely and then type it out in a new text block in Elementor.

If this doesn’t do the trick feel free to reach out here:

A number of customers use the shortcode with Elementor successfully, though especially with designs like table you might need to actually view the page.

    Cheers!

Thank you. Okay somehow I’ve gotten it to work by starting over again and using Elementor’s “shortcode” widget instead of the text widget. I am also wondering if there’s a way to indicate that I don’t want to split am and pm from event start and end times – they are hanging as orphans on their own lines, but maybe I have to start a new ticket for that?

Yes if you’re able to submit a request on the contact page with your license key, I can do my best to point you in the right direction ??
