WordPress Multisite domain mapping screwed up

Hey WP experts, I don’t know what was over-written on my server after I updated/recompiled apache and php. The domain mappings to my wordpress sub-blogs stopped working, they all now point to apache welcome page. Was it the virtual host file got rewritten? What do I need to check, and how to fix this? thank you all!
