Import Fails If Audio Files Exist In Media
-
We used OCDI for many Organic Themes. However, I was having trouble when testing imports for some of our themes, while other demo imports worked as expected.
There seemed to be no correlation since the import code was the same for all themes. In all cases, the log file in the media library indicated no errors with the import. However, the imports failed halfway through the media import process.
After many hours of pulling my hair out, I finally discovered that the demo import process fails if audio (.mp3) files exist in the media library of the demo. After finding and deleting any import reference to audio files within the XML import file, I was finally able to have a successful import.
This is almost certainly a bug. It would be great to see a fix for it, but if not, hopefully this post will help any other theme developers experiencing the same problem from going bald.
Thanks!
