    I’m not able to run the app once installed in public_html. Getting error message first saying I need an empty directory. But my site basically lives in that folder (?)

    Then when I proceed the error is further reiterated with a mention about accidentally overwriting a WordPress site. Which is exactly what I did a couple weeks ago, blowing my site and having to pay my host $25 to restore it.

    I am literally at a loss about what on earth to do to make this work. And no, if it’s not obvious, I’m not a developer.

    Lastly only linking the above page as it makes it look easy, but clearly it isn’t!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    PS, here are the steps that I took:

    1. I created a packet through on the dashboard with the plugin;
    2. I uploaded to my “public_html” folder (either directly or with an FTP client, yielded the same result below);
    3. I set up the database through the cpanel with my host, along with a prospective user & pw;
    4. I ran duplicator as indicated with my url/installer.php
    5. immediately got the warning mentioned above, in terms of the directory not being empty, and when I clicked my agreement with the terms
    6. got the second warning
