WP FullCalendar w/Event Manager

  • How do I get my events that I added to Event Manager to appear in WP FullCalender?

    On the settings page for WP FullCalender I selected:

    Events (event) – powered by Events Manager
    Choose which taxonomies you want to see listed as search options on the calendar.
    Event Tags (event-tags)
    Event Categories (event-categories)

    Then used the shortcode:
    [fullcalendar type="post_tag,category"]

    I assume I’m missing a step or two. Thanks in advance!

    I found that creating the events in EventsManager and selecting to use EventManager categories on the FullCalendar settings page taxonomy category worked for me – didn’t need anything on the page – just needed to tell EventsManager which page to use (I had renamed it to prevent a conflict with another event program that i use) – found it after much searching in Events>Settings>Pages>Event List/Archive> Events page (is where i entered the name of my FullCalendar page.

    Actually – i think what worked was setting up categories with in the EventsManager events i created – just deleted the page that i had placed in the eventspage above and am only placing [fullcalendar] on two pages and it still works with the category dropdown as selected on the FullCalendar settings page.
