    Hello,
I’ve recently created a WordPress website, for which I needed to include a subscription box and synchronize it the an already existing account and list in Mailjet.
In a popup form, I’ve then created a Contact Form 7 newsletter subscription including the shortcode for the Mailjet checkbox. We’ve received so far all the confirmation mails when someone was subscribing but it happens that these new subscribers are nowhere to be found on the list I had settled in the first place.
I’ve re-read the users guide and it seems that my settings are correct so I don’t really understand where it could come from.
Would you have an idea ?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

It seems to be working fine.

I’ve just tried to subscribe using the popup form on your site. I’ve received the subscription confirmation email and after clicking on the link inside I was successfully added to your “General list” list.

You can confirm that by looking up [email protected] inside the list.

Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for your answer !

Indeed, I see the mail adress in the link. But then, I believe that you maybe used the subscription form at the bottom of the page. Indeed I also installed this widget as a back-up.
But when I had tried to subscribe myself from the pop-up, appearing on the main page, I did receive the mail that says “thank you for your subscription” but there is no confirmation link to click on. So I think it might be the issue, why the other names are not on our list !
For the pop-up, I used the “mailjet-opt-in” that is found in the integrations tab from the settings, that I then included in my Contact Form 7 form.
I guess then that it would be for the best to just integrate there the widget instead of the opt-in ?
    I hope it’s all clear !

Also, do I have then to enter manually to the list the mail adresses that don’t appear there but for which we got confirmation ? Or is there a way to automatically recover them ?

    Thanks again for your time

Hi, I’ve signed up in this popup:

Make sure to mark the checkbox in order to subscribe to the list. If the checkbox is not marked, then the confirmation email will not be sent to the user.

Then I’ve received this kind of email:

What does your look like? Maybe it is the ContactForm7 email – it delivers its own email to the website owner whenever the form is submitted. Mailjet sends a separate email to the user who filled in the form in order to allow him to confirm his subscription (this is the one in the screenshot above).

Please try to subscribe with another email address too (different from the site owner’s email address).

Finally, regarding the users that have already submitted the form and have not been added to the list – WordPress doesn’t store them anywhere, so it is not possible to sync them automatically to the list. But you can import them easily – https://app.mailjet.com/support/how-to-upload-my-contacts-to-a-list,78.htm

    Hi again !

Yes, now I disconnected from WordPress, tried again and I received the exact same mail as you ?? So I guess it’s now working, yay !
Indeed, I previously hadn’t added the checkbox as a required field so I guess new subscribers hadn’t checked it. But now it’s all fixed.

Thanks a lot for your help !
