Review Schemea is not detected by Rich Snippet Testing Tool

    I just installed the newly updated version 1.8.4 and after i tested with google rich snippet testing tool and found that now the posts are not equipped with review snippet properly and therefore it was not detected as review post by google rich snippet testing tool.
    In the previous rich reviews plugin versions it was detected.

    I have tested with my other sites and the story is same.

    Are you using the snippet shortcode in the pages?

    We were getting errors in the Structured Data tool from individual reviews, including the fact that the schema is repeated for each review. There was no easy fix, so we decided to remove it, as it appeared to be causing more problems than it was worth.

    Can you help us understand why you would need that? Google doesn’t display individual reviews in their results, only the overall rating, which is included with the snippet shortcode.

    Help us understand and we’ll see what we can do. Thanks.

    The problem is the snippet displaying stars in all the pages but testing with rich snippet testing tool it was not detected.

    Sorry for the slow reply. We took time off for the holidays. Is this still an issue? If so, can you send me the link to the rich snippet testing tool with your URL put in for testing, so I can see what you’re seeing (or not seeing)?

    We tested this extensively, and so I’m assuming I’m just not fully understanding what you’re saying or expecting to see.

    Are you using the snippet shortcode? It should output valid Schema for the aggregate rating. However, we’ve removed the individual review Schema, since it was causing a number of issues. So if you’re just using the reviews shortcode, it won’t output the required Schema. Make sure to add the snippet shortcode on any pages where you want the Schema to appear.
