  • Hello,

    Please add this extra CSS code in Customizer -> General Settings -> Additional CSS :

    @media screen and (min-width: 1024px){
    iframe{
    width:100%!Important;
    height:900px!important;}
    }

    This resolves a part of the issue, but the basic embed video block still doesn’t act the same within your theme and a Twenty Nineteen theme. I can test with other themes as well if needed.

    When the video is first embedded, it looks fine until the page is saved. then, the video doesn’t fit within the block and looks expanded. With this additional code, the block does – SOMETIMES- function dynamically, ie the block size adjusts on different devices, but the video doesn’t fit within the block either way.

    Here are three pages that display this:
    https://www.rxplore.pharmacy.pitt.edu/test-video/ the blocks won’t act dynamically at all

    https://www.rxplore.pharmacy.pitt.edu/photo-album/#page-content- on this page, the block itself is dynamic and adjusts appropriately, but the video is still expanded and doesn’t fit within the bloc.

    https://pages.pharmacy.pitt.edu/semesterfiles/test-video/ this is the Twenty Nineteen theme. The block is dynamic as expected and the video fits within the block as expected.

    The exact same procedure was used to place the video block on all three pages.

    To see the problem, you can either realize the screen on a desktop from full width down to a phone size, or view on different devices. The same behavior is visible.

    We had been using the free version of this theme, and just purchased the Pro version because we were so happy with the rest of this theme. But why would a basic block function so differently on this theme than on a more conventional WordPress theme?
