• Hi,

I’m using the Ajax Search Lite along with qTranslate XT plugin in on our web site. qTranslate XT is open-source multi-language support for WordPress as you know.

First, problem is borning from qTranslate plugin: qTranslateXT adding language prefix like [:en] in page titles which is translated into multi language (example screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkunr58N).

Therefore, if I write any string on search box at the homepage, Ajax Search Lite plugin doesn’t show the searched page on results.

So how do I make ignore the language prefixes like [:en] or [:tr] from Ajax Search Lite search mechanism?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Well, I am not familiar with that plugin unfortunately. Qtranslate-x should work, those strings should be properly handled. If that new plugin has an option to enabled backwards compatibility functions with QtranslateX and Qtranslate, then enabling them might do the trick.

    Best,
    Ernest M.
