  • Hey @wpress2010,

    Is the site is correctly functioning there may not be anything else needed. Sometimes when there are automatic updates and the site is receiving traffic this error can happen.

    Thanks,

    Thanks. Coincidentally, I got another one of these things today, different site:

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 95 of the file /home/anothersite/www/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscap.php. Error message: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/anothersite/www/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscapCache.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php73/lib/php’)

    Site still OK, but a bit troubling to receive these emails, which, in light of the importance of my clients’ sites staying stable, is obviously important.

    Hey @wpress2010,

    I completely understand how alarming seeing unknown errors can be. Fortunately, we’ve seen this previously and understand what causes it. If the site(s) are functioning correctly there isn’t anything to worry about. The traffic hitting the site while the automatic update is happening causes the error. But as long as the update was successful everything is just fine.

    Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @wpress2010,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
