Weird spacing and alignment issues

  • Is there any way to make the display picture line up closer to the header? There’s a big gap there right now and I can’t figure out how to close it.

    Also the list of links next to the logo isn’t aligned with the logo. Is there a way to make them line up? Thanks!

    One more thing sorry, I enabled the archives template so that I could have a side bar but is there any way to make it so “archives” isn’t displayed with the list of things at the top?

    I just grabbed this theme and started working with it. I’m already having some issues with working on the header.php file, but that’s probably going to work itself out. I usually can play with space b/w the header and body containers in the css.php file – that’s where the padding, margins etc for each container are. I just fiddle with them till I get what I want – then check in different browsers to make sure I didn’t explode anything. I always back up the page in notebook first.

    BTW if this is really obvious and you tried it – sorry for being an annoyingly ‘entry level’ pedant – I hardly ever give any advice like this.

    I looked at you site and it’s very cool. I’ll have to look around more.
