Unrespectful ad spammers

    Thanks for your comment.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so we listened to our community and yesterday we publicly apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused to our users (link to Twitter) and released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.

    Hi @monbauza,

    I understand that was the right thing to do. But the damage is done, my clients and all their users (which was incredible) could see the ad banner and it was really unprofessional.

    I try really hard to keep the websites I as clean as possible and I can’t trust a plugin with such a behaviour, so I migrated all my sites to another solution.
