Very deceiving

    Regardless of all the bad reviews, I installed this plugin to see for myself. Since I am a new user, I won’t have the pain of losing features with an update!

    So with a simple contact form to build, very basic need, I was hoping to use the free version. It toke 5 minutes to see that the phone field is not available in the free version, same thing with Google Recaptcha. How do we build a contact form without a decent phone number field??? To use a text field instead is stupid. With this simple, very basic need, I would have to upgrade and charge my client a licence fee each year. Costing more than the time I bill to make the form! And no Recaptach free integration is not an option for us.

    We don’t have the same definition of “basic”. So I just deleted the HappyForms plugin. Hope you make a U-turn before losing even more user support.

    So sorry to hear this, @marquopolo!

    Did you try using the Number form part? It’s in our free version and it’s much better suited to phone numbers than our Short Text and Long Text form parts.

    If that still doesn’t work for you, I suggest giving Contact Form 7 a try. It’s a much simpler plugin than HappyForms but it can handle phone numbers for free.
