Puzzles stop working with latest wordpress

I create a new puzzle every Friday on this page of my website: https://reikishamanic.com/resources/reikishamanic-puzzle/

Today, no matter what I tried, I could not get the new puzzle to appear. I did update plug-in to latest version, but it still does not work. My WP Theme is Total if that helps.

I’ve really enjoyed the puzzle and so have my readers. Can you help me get it up and running?

For those who might be having a similar issue with the Puzzle plugin, I never received a response to my request for support (above).

I hired developer Lions Mane Productions to fix the issue in the code (cost me $75). The Puzzle maker now works, but I will never be able to update the plugin.

@wildreiki would you mind sharing the fix? I would have no problem donating to your page as a contribution, I appreciate you had to pay for a solution.
