When I click the post content and deselect date, I get an error in the block

This block encountered an error and cannot be previewed.
Then I cannot edit the block further.

We don’t want dates displaying on the posts/pages yet I can’t deselect without the error.

What am I missing? I can select/deselect other attributes ok (excerpt, author, etc.)

@paulag01 I’m not able to replicate this. Are you still experiencing it? If so, can you give steps to reproduce, along with some info on which version of WP you using, which theme, etc?

Hi John. Still happening. Here is a link to exact steps:

Magazine Pro theme from Studiopress most recent version.

    @paulag01 & @mindctrl :

I posted the issue in the support forum over two months ago, but received no reply from the plugin author.

I too have encountered this issue in the Posts Grid Block. It breaks the block in the Posts Editor, but appears not to do so on the frontend. Once that block is broken, it can no longer be edited, but must be deleted and a new block created.

    Gen: 3.2.1
    WP: 5.3.1

    Howdy folks,

We’re looking into this one still. We’re having a hard time reproducing the error consistently on our end but we’re digging into a few sample sites where it is happening. Thanks for your patience!

Great news! A fix for this is incoming. The fix will be in Magazine Pro and not AB, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks for the helpful report that led us to a fix!

    Hey @atomicblocks :

Thanks for proactively following up on this issue.

One additional angle to this issue I discovered when further testing during the previous few days is that: Once the block is broken, if the user does not delete the block and rebuild it, but instead exits the Post Editor for the respective post, then re-enters the post, the block will again appear.

This isn’t a viable workflow of course, but perhaps this additional info can facilitate an appropriate solution.

    Thanks again.

Thank YOU! I am pleased to throw my IT and old programming skills at making it specific and reproducible.
