My Website, seems to not reach anyone googling, looks hidden?

  • Hi all,
    So recently i noticed that my website does not get any attention from google, When i go Search Console i’m not getting any data as in terms of keywords, looks like it just doesn’t show to people at all.
    I understand homepage as it is not really SEO friendly (It only has pictures and some info) but an actual guides of places are SEO friendly, i optimized all the pictures added alt tags and everything (Also i know it’s “hard business” “hard niche” but im not here for the “business” or “niche” i just want to help people that want to travel to these places, i’m not putting any ads on the site, I just want to help/share sort of my experiences without talking about the story of for 2 hours i’m just doing it in my freetime as you can see the guides are pretty long and detailed and hopefully helpful but its only few of them as they take quite much time and i only do it when i can, but looks like it doesn’t reach to anyone at all.)

    So my question why is that? I tried looking up researching googling but without luck.
    Would be thankful if you guys could help me

  • About the only thing that WordPress can do for you is the Settings > Reading option for search engine visibility.

    Other than that, you can try any of the SEO plugins to help you.

    Your site is indexed, so Google does know about it. Just because you don’t get visits doesn’t mean that it’s “hidden”. It’s just not ranked as well as other sites are for the same search queries, so it’s not being shown in the resutlts.

    The only thing to do is owrk on the SEO of the site – and that’s something that you need to do yourself.

    Hmm, i worked on my SEO for few weeks, i optimized all the images, added alt tags and did everything in the guides and tutorials i watched, but i don’t get any data in terms of searches/keywords im ranking on, nothing changed i hoped at least i would get some keywords that im ranked on even 100th place or 1000 place but i just want to know which keywords am i showing on, but looks like my website is on google search but doesn’t show to anyone

    Working on SEO for a couple of weeks is literally only a very small start. If you are trying for competitive keywords you will need a large effort for a minimum of 12 months before you see any real results.

    The best thing for you to do is sign up to Google Webmasters, and use that to view the status of your site. And keep up the SEO work. It is a very long process that never stops.

    I am signed up to Google Webmasters(Console) I was just worried/wondering that i might not be in peoples searches, for example i still dont know if i even come up at 100th page on google search if someone type for example “Dumaguete guide” i don’t get any data whats so ever about impressions, this is why im asking and if there are ways to see such info or why doesnt it show on my google console, maybe something wrong with my seos or keywords etc
