Flamingo makes CF7 submit very slow

    I’ve got a client using CF7 with flamingo and they were complaining that the form submit was taking 10-30 seconds and they were losing leads as a result.

    I spun up a new test site – clean version of the latest WordPress and installed just CF7 + Flamingo and saw the same results.

    I disabled flamingo and CF7 now submits almost instantly.

    Please consider this a showstopping bug as no client I know would have this sort of delay on their contact forms.

    The only difference between these two is one has Flamingo and one doesn’t.

    The other plugins should be irrelevant.

    I’ve seen other threads mention speed issues with Flamingo when used on a host that uses edge-cache like Varnish. This site is hosted on Pantheon who do use edge cache.

    Update: We’ve swapped to using CFDB7 now as it doesn’t have this issue. I suspect the issue is that Flamingo is triggering edge-cache purging on each submission causing the process to be very slow.

    Same issue, it seems the feedback which is 1kb in size takes forever to load. Just disable this plugin as its causing issues ??
