Show content only from a single specific category

    I run an online community newspaper with content organised into 33 categories. I would like the the plugin to show content from just one single category at the bottom of all single posts. I have downloaded both the Related Posts and the Related Posts by Categories and Tags add-on plugins. Do you have a field where I can select the specific category I want to show in the widget? I can only find the Exclude Category field, but this doesn’t seem to have the effect I want: I have selected the 32 Categories that I want to exclude leaving the one that I want to show, but now it isn’t showing any content at all even though I know I have three posts assigned to that category. Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

    There isn’t a way to only select a specific category to display posts. You can try to disable the relevance matching when you have the add-on plugin installed.

    It will just use the categories to fetch the relevant posts
