Image Captions No Longer Center After WordPress 5.3 Upgrade

    Hello,

    Since the WordPress 5.3 upgrade, all of the captions under images on all of my website pages are no longer centered AND left aligned instead.

    Not able to get them to move back to center position despite manually trying.

    I deactivated and activated all of the plug-ins excepts for Really Simple SSL. Still no luck.

    Is anyone else having this problem? How do we fix?

    Yes, I have exactly the same problem, e.g. https://www.breamishvalley.com/driving-vertical-posts/

    I have no idea what to do about it.

    Any help, anyone?

    Hi there,
    @grayhambo you can try this
    .wp-block-image .aligncenter>figcaption, .wp-block-image .alignleft>figcaption, .wp-block-image .alignright>figcaption, .wp-block-image.is-resized>figcaption{text-align:center;}
    in your custom CSS box under Customize->Additional CSS
    Let me know if this worked for you.

    @seashell88 It seems you are not using Olsen light, while this is the forum dedicated to this theme. Please consult your theme developers for more help on this

    The recommended code was placed and it worked; my image captions are centered again.

    Note – I am using Olsen Light :).

    Thanks for this code. It worked perfectly! Now my captions are centred as I expected them to be.
