MG no longer works with the Lightbox feature

After the day update of Responsive Lightbox & Gallery 2.1.0 to ver 2.2.0 the lightbox function no longer works. The image is opened in a new window.
Have tested tested rolling back to ver 2.1.0 and then it works without any problems!
Now the version 2.2.0 is active.

Has purge an empty all caches as well.
