Could not insert post into the database

  • I can’t publish new posts or even save drafts
    There wasn’t an error message until I tried to post something from an external blog editor like Windows Live Writer which generates the following error:

    Server Error 500 Occurred

    Could not insert post into the database

    It appears as if my database is corrupted
    Which one though? How do we replace it without losing all 400 posts and all the comments?

    I have many backups from the past but not that recent

    -> Please repair the database from the hosting control panel or you can contact your hosting service provider.
    -> Make sure that you have assign proper permissions to database user although assign the permissions again.

    Error 500 implies that there’s something wrong with your .htaccess file.
