    How I can exclude the most recent post to be shown in a slider/caroussel?

    Thanks for reaching here.

    Please try slider hide_post parameter [recent_post_slider hide_post="post_id"].

    Please try carousel hide_post parameter [recent_post_carousel hide_post="post_id"].

    Please pass this parameter your post id. like :- hide_post="21"

    Go to WordPress default post -> edit post and Refer below screenshot.

    Hello,

    Did you tried to work with category? you should try to add your new posts to a category and exclude the category id in the plugin.
