posts fine – pages won’t show

  • Hi wordpress folks,

    When I publish a page and then view the page i get a Error 404: file not found.

    The url on the wordpress admin and on the 404 are identical but the host server (Hostica) can’t seem to produce it.

    I have another wordpress installation on another host server (Hostgator)and the pages show without problem.

    It would seem to be a server problem, no?

    Does anyone now where the pages are supposed to be stored in the wordpress file structure so I could check it out on a ftp client?

  • Hi, the blog where it won’t show properly has been hacked. You’re running wordpress 2.7.1 on it, which has long since been patched to fix security flaws. You can see things like “base64_decode” if you hover your mouse over the links on that blog, which will load an execute any code that the hacker wishes to run on your blog.
