Keeping WC up-to-date while Rebuilding Website

    Hi, I’ve had a look at several posts on this thread, and it looks like your plugin will do the job, but I need to make sure.
    I need to rebuild a client’s e-comm site without losing orders, payments, emails etc – basically all the normal activity produced by WooCommerce during a transaction.
    I plan on cloning the site into a subfolder and simply switching themes and doing some styling changes, so the core of the site will remain the same, as opposed to a complete rebuild.
    In the past we’ve run into issues using migrate plugins like WP All Import Export to update the DB because of issues with post_id’s being duplicated, and I’d like to avoid that.

    So in a nutshell – can I clone a site and use your plugin to keep the cloned installation up-to-date with WC so that when we go live the DB is up to date wrt orders & sales etc?

    Just to be clear:

    1. Clone site A to site B.
    2. Site A is still live and receiving orders.
    3. Site B is modified: theme, texts, etc.
    4. Site B is ready.
    5. Broadcast rest of orders to site B
    6. Make site B live

    That sounds doable, especially #5, though you’ll be needing the Broadcast WooCommerce add-on to properly broadcast the orders and non-trivial products.

    The basic plugin can only do simple, non-variable products.
