With Divi theme’s new 4.0 version release, this plugin for custom tabs has stopped working. With Divi being widely used, is there a possibility of having this fixed? I’ve linked with them also ??

    Hey @calliewallie,

We’ve been in communication with the developers of Divi and they’re working on allowing Custom Product Tabs. However we have no control over this because DIVI takes over the process of adding tabs and basically shuts down anything you’re adding in as a custom tab.

They seemed to be pretty close on a fix so I’d be curious to see how close that is to being launched if they let you know!

    Cheers,
    Freddie

    Great news!

I’ve created a Divi Child theme that can be used with Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce.

    Download Link: https://github.com/yikesinc/divi-child-custom-tabs/archive/0.1.0.zip

    – Activate theme.
    – Go to product with tabs.
    – Delete Divi Tabs module
    – Create a new text or code module.
    – Add [custom_product_tabs] to the module.
    – Now look at the frontend of your website.

This will still need to be styled but its a start and gives control of the tabs back.

    Cheers,
    Freddie

Thanks Freddie! I’m so glad for this as Divi won’t give me an ETA on when to expect the fix. The only thing is (like you mentioned!) it is not styled: https://empnew.wpengine.com/product/ltc-9000-progressive-care-mattress-3-inch-transfer-borders

How can I make this appear as tabs? Also, I’d like the YouTube videos to be embedded like they were also ?? I have no idea how to style this info as tabs… Any help you can give is much appreciated! ??

Here you go I changed it up to add in the WooCommerce Tabs style and Javascript.

This is awesome Freddie- thank you!! The only thing I’m wondering is how to make the tabs support HTML again? https://empnew.wpengine.com/product/ltc-9000-progressive-care-mattress-3-inch-transfer-borders Currently, everything is jumbling together and the HTML formatting is not showing (including the YouTube vids not embedding….?) Is it possible to fix this?

I’m going to see what I can do and I’ll post back later with an update!

Just checking in on this one again ?? Any update?

I installed your Divi child theme 1.1, but the tabs still don’t show up on my product page.

    Hey all,

I’m sorry this is still not working! Please continue to contact Divi support with this issue as its not an issue with our plugin it is an issue with Divi. We can’t do anything further unless Divi properly adds WooCommerce Tab support to their theme.
