    Hello,

Bellow is my original deleted reply to your post – Help us translate. There is nothing offensive or objectionable about it. So it is extremely rude of you (whomever on the admin side) to delete it without a reply, particularly when you are seeking help from the community! As you are aware, our contributions to the translation of WordPress or any plugins are unpaid. As a user of your plugin translating it to my language is accessory. I’m perfectly comfortable using it in English. I could also translate the PO file for personal use if I cared. So if you really want help you should start treating people with respect.

I’m working on translating GPDR Cookie Consent to Portuguese(PT_pt). I was trying to see the translations in context but for some reason the admin page of one of the sites I manage is in PT-br. PT-br is not even one of the languages on my WordPress installation. Furthermore, on the translate page Portuguese (Brazil) is 0% translated. Where is this translation coming from?

    Best

    Filipe

    Hi @filipejsbrandao,

We are extremely sorry about the trouble with the post but we can assure you that it is not within our knowledge that your posts have been deleted and moreover, it isn’t within our capabilities to delete or modify WordPress posts. Thanks to you, we just noticed that the Help us translate! post is closed for further replies. We will check with WordPress moderators regarding this.

Regarding your query, the plugin does not include translation for PT-br. We are unsure how this gets loaded in the site. You may please reach us via support forum in our website with your site details so that we can have a look.

    Hello @webtoffee

    Let’s forget it.

In the meantime I found that there are pt_PT files on my public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/languages. These file are being used for the translation I’m seeing on the worpress interface. The problem is that the translation is not pt_PT but pt_BR. Also, the translation is not being served from GlotPress. When I try to force the translation to update it won’t work. The only way to update the translation is to do it manually. Please check on your side why this is happening. I don’t think is related with my website installation, as I’m seeing this on other websites I manage.

    Hi @filipejsbrandao,

As the language is foreign to us we are having a tough time identifying the incorrect strings. We made some changes to the translation files. Please reach us via support forum here to that we can share it with you.
