I want to purchase, install and use WP/LR Sync but it crashes my WordPress Dashboard when I activate it. Please help.

My WP site was running on PHP 5.6. I read that WP/LR Sync requires PHP 7.0 or higher. So I updated the site to PHP 7.0. I logged in as admin ok. I then downloaded and installed WP/LR Sync. I activate it and then get an HTTP Error 500 on ../wp-admin/ so I can no longer access my dashboard or login as admin. But the site is still visible to an ordinary user and appears to be running ok. It’s just not possible to access the admin pages.

So, via my hosting cPanel I then revert back to PHP 5.6. Now I can login again ok, and it says that WP/LR Sync is active. I have repeated this whole process again to double-check. When I delete WP/LR Sync and then upgrade to PHP 7.0 I can login as admin ok. But as soon as I install and activate WP/LR Sync I get an HTTP Error 500 on the admin page and cannot access my dashboard.

What is going on? Is WP/LR Sync working with PHP 5.6? Why does is prevent access to my dashboard when running PHP 7.0? It would seem to be the exact opposite of what you say. i.e. WP/LR Sync requires that PHP 7.0 is not used. Please explain and help me solve this problem. Otherwise I will not purchase a license for the WP/LR plug-in as I will not be able to use it at the WP end.

    Thank you.

Since we are already talking through support, I am closing this. But let’s update this thread if the technical issue can be interesting for others.
