Speed on Network Solutions

  • I’m looking for speed tips for shared hosting on Network Solutions for a client site. I have not dealt with WordPress on Network Solutions previously so I am unfamiliar with their settings.

    The long and short of it is that even with WP Super Cache enabled, the site takes 30 to 60 seconds to load, whereas on my shared development server (elsewhere), it takes 2-3 seconds without WP Super Cache.

    Also, it doesn’t appear that gzip is working.

    Still waiting for a response from their engineer….

    NS made a change to the database to improve speed and I installed the widget cache plugin. All is good now

    Hi there, I am also having speed issues with WordPress on Network Solutions. Do you know what change they made to the database?
