Maybe can you share screenshots of your settings (as long as they don’t contain confidential data)?

Or: maybe you try again when your site is live? Quite likely that’s the issue.

We’re not allowed to do that. But you can just upload the pictures on your server, and then send the links here. Or use a tool like https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html

I cant uplaod a link where the ULR is public. Is ther neo way, I can send you a private message with the link? Would love to solve it once and for all. Sure you will see whats wrong right away.

This https://www.screencast.com/t/NRrGPzBE is an aggregate number of counts – of all social networks set up under question number 5 in the plugin. If “40” appears on all pages then it means you also have manual counts active in Q5 and no counts for all other networks for those pages. Pls check if this is true.

I just want to show the readers, how mmany times this specific post has already been shared.

You don’t have to enable it. That’s how it works: the number is the sum of all counts set up in Q5.

But, how do we show the number of times the specific post has been shared?

If ost A has been shared 100 times, it should say 100
If post B has been shared 200 times, it should say 200.

Please note that there are more than one social platform where users can share your posts/pages. So if a specific post has been shared 200 times on Facebook and you want it to “say” 200 then please only set up the counts for Facebook under question number 5 in the plugin’s settings (deselect all other platforms).
