So I just tried out the Crawler and something very strange is happening. When it runs, my WooCommerce product titles start being updated to the titles of customer Wishlists (using the official WooCommerce Wishlists plugin).

I imagine this is a rather edge case interaction happening here. But can confirm it is happening every time the crawler runs as I can manually start the crawler and then continue to refresh my database and see the count of product titles being changed to random wishlist titles going up.

Since the crawler runs as a guest, I can’t imagine it’s accessing URLs that are triggering this to happen. In fact I’m not aware of any frontend URL that could possibly be triggering this kind of Behaviour. It seems nonsensical that this could ever happen, yet, it is.

I’ve been trying to debug the issue but haven’t been able to find anything yet. So I wanted to find out if there’s a way that I can get a log or something of the URLs that the crawler has crawled so that I can check for any suspicious URLs being hit?

If you have any advice on how else I might try to debug the issue it would be greatly appreciated. I’m running an OpenLiteSpeed WordPress One-Click droplet, so I’m able to check server logs, etc.

Hi @slightlyfaulty, could you please provide?your Report Number, found in?WP Admin > LiteSpeed Cache > Report.

Also, may I take a look at the demo on which titles get changed? You also can join our Slack channel to pass us the information.

Thanks for the quick reply, Stanley. My report number is: HODHQMIU

This is actually on a live site that has been running well for a few days on a new DO droplet using OpenLiteSpeed WordPress One-Click. I hadn’t tried the crawler feature yet until today, and then this happened. Fortunately I already had daily backups in place so restoring the product titles was fairly straight forward.

I’m comfortable debugging from my side. I just wanted to find out if anything like this has been reported before, and if you have any advice on where to start scratching around?

We haven’t met this before, can you confirm you can reproduce everytime when crawler running on your site? If yes, could you try to turn off Object Cache and re-run again?

Apologies for not following up sooner.

After a lot of digging around I managed to pin this issue to a buggy interaction between WooCommerce and the WooCommerce Wishlist plugin. It seems the crawler was just triggering the bug in batches, but it was not caused by the crawler itself.
