    Hi, there seems to be issues with Wordfence on my site.

    I’ve renamed the plugin and moved it into a different folder completely. I’ve done the same with PageSpeed Ninja. Still, there is a global Wordfence message to anyone accessing the site:

    Your access to this site has been limited
    Your access to this service has been temporarily limited. Please try again in a few minutes. (HTTP response code 503)

    Reason: POST received with blank user-agent and referer

    Appreciate if you could help ASAP.

    THank you

    So, after deleting every shred of Wordfence evidence I could via files, folders, wf_database tables. The one reference left was i:23;s:23:”wordfence/wordfence.php“;

    Which was located in the active_plugins table (page 2 within wp_options) of the database, accessed through phpMyAdmin, should anyone come across this issue in the future.

    When I removed everything including the Wordfence.php reference the website finally came back after a few minutes. Hope that helps anyone who comes across this in future!
