• I’ve de/activated plugins and none of them seemed to fix this issue. It just started a couple of days ago and I looked over my audit logs and nothing has been updated on the website. Is there possibly some sort of built-in flood feature? We do use the forms internally quite often as do customers on our wifi. We’ve had CF7 for years and haven’t had this issue. I’ve googled extensively and mostly came up with people wanting to block IPs not finding out how one could be!
    Thank you!

  • Please explain in detail HOW the CF7 form submissions are not working within your network.

If you get a confirmation message with a green border this confirms clearly that your emails are being sent by CF7 & WordPress. It’s possible that your CF7 emails are being rejected as spam within your network.

After hitting submit the arrow circle just spins and never does anything else! No errors, nothing, just spins! Opera with VPN, on phone using data, customers from home…no problem!

Sorry I had been googling most the day what the issue might be so I completely forgot to put what was happening here!

The spinning arrow is a common sign of a JavaScript conflict. This could be due to a conflict with your WP theme or one of the other plugins you are using.

As a temporary stop gap measure you may consider stopping Contact Form 7 from loading any JavaScript – see Loading JavaScript and Stylesheet Only When it is Necessary

You will lose all of CF7’s Javascript functionality which is very important.
If does not address any particular problem on your site (it just hides the symptoms) & you will lose all of CF7’s Javascript functionality which is important for things like form validation.

Thank you for your follow up.

Unfortunately, I don’t see how to applies to my situation. If it was the theme, plugin or java error, it would spin regardless of what IP it was being submitted from. This is specific to only behind our building IP. It works fine outside the building IP.

As mentioned, I already tested our plugins. Again I doubt it would be our theme either as it works outside our building IP.

Has anyone ever heard of an ISP blocking access to a form? The fact that it only happens here and nowhere else makes me think it could be related to our internet hoster.
