Image is not resized when set values are larger than 747px.

    For example:
In Imsanity Settings, set the maximum image dimensions in the 3 options to: 800×800

Upload this image to test it, it has “1008 x 756”:
    https://delai.org/image-1008×756.jpg

The image should be resized to “800 x 600”.
    But she still has 1008 x 756.

This image is only resized if I set maximum dimensions to 747 x 747, take the quiz!

If you set 748, 749 or more, nothing happens.

    Note:
This does not happen with all images, I am sending you this to study the case and try to solve the problem.

Hi, I tested the image locally, and it resized to 748, so I’m guessing we have something else going on. To clarify, if the filesize of the scaled image is not smaller (which IS possible), then Imsanity will keep the original as-is.

    Two things come to mind:
    1. What is the JPG quality set to?
    2. Can you go to Tools->Site Health->Info->Media Handling and see if you have ImageMagick available, or just GD?
