Thank you for letting us know about this problem. I see what you mean. I’m seeing these errors on my test site as well, and they’re related to Square features that are not supported by our plugin, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.

I’ve let our developers know about this problem to see if we can prevent these requests somehow so that they don’t confuse the merchants or customers. In the meantime, you should be able to accept credit card payments as normal, as these errors are not related to the credit card feature in any way.

I am having similar issues. There doesn’t seem to be a way for me to accept any credit card payments as normal. Circle just spins and I cannot enter any credit card information.

I can accept payments just fine even with the 400 responses showing in the console, so the problem here is likely caused by something else. To let us check what this could be, can you please send the System Status Report? You can find it under WooCommerce > Status in WP Admin.

Thank you for coming back with System Status!

Can you please enable Debug mode in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Square and then check the logs in WooCommerce > Status > Logs that start with fatal-errors, square- or square_credit_card? Please try to access the checkout page first.

Also, do you see any errors on your checkout if you open Dev Tools > Console and reload it? Your site is behind the Coming Soon bar so I can’t check it myself.

Additionally, if you switch to the Network tab, do you see any js-errors there?

Thank you for the screenshot! I see this error message on it – [Analytics] A token request is already in place which is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
?
The best way to determine this is to:
?

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Test if your checkout page is loading
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Square
• Test if your checkout page is loading

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Let us know how that goes!
