Trying to edit theme files not working

Im trying to edit the map-globals.php file because for some reason, the plugin isnt recognizing a certain address im trying to enter (all other addresses work, its just this one specific one)

anyways, i followed the instructions, created the folders

/plugins/events-manager/templates

in my themes folder, but nothing. The changes arent showing up

i even tried
/plugins/events/templates

which is what it says in the map-globals.php comments, but no luck

Any ideas what i could be missing?
