• I have an already established website w/ over 200 pages (www.prekinders.com). I also have a wordpress.com blog (which I use as a blog for the website): https://www.prekinders.wordpress.com. I am thinking about switching my website, which I coded myself w/ CSS & HTML, over to WordPress to use as a CMS. I’d also want to move the wordpress.com blog so that it is integrated into the website (so the two are not separate). I want the blog to be prekinders.com/blog. Does anyone have advice on how best to do both of these? I’m getting confused trying to wrap my mind around it, haha.

  • export your content from wordpress.com
    import that into the new blog
    import your static content, manually.

    the theming is another thing, but if your patient, and willing to do some reading,

    I just finished up a gig on a site with over 400 pages of static content and blogger stuff.

    the link in the footer is my partner.

    anyway, you can put a lot of content into a wordpress blog, in a lot of different ways.

    Thanks for replying. Manually doesn’t sound like fun, but I kind of figured it would be that way.
