Does the divi section have to be visible?

  • I added the css and id to a Divi section.
    I added the resulting # and id name after that.

    The pop up works, but only when the Divi section is published on the page it is supposed to pop up on?

    What am I missing?

    Can I save the section to the library and still make it work? I tried changing the visibility on the page to hide it, but obviously it hides it in the pop up too.

    Seems like a simple/obvious step is missing in the directions (obvious for my simple brain this week)
